DRP 4040 NDT Proven Workhorse for X-ray Cabinets
Nissin Brake Georgia (NBG) was established in October 2000. The parent company is Nissin Kogyo Co. Ltd. is headquartered in Japan and has many other locations throughout the world. Nissin Brake Georgia's initial capital providers were Nissin Kogyo and Nissin Brake Ohio. The business focuses on automotive and non-automotive brake system manufacturing.
Most recently Nissin teamed with Lake X-Ray and DÜRR NDT to install 4 X-ray cabinets fitted with the DRP 4040 NDT flat panel detector. The cabinets are compact yet provide ease of part placement and high production.
Nissin produces about 30,000 parts per day at this facility in Georgia. The 4 Lake X-Ray / DÜRR NDT units currently run
3 shifts and 24 hours per day. Each machine is capable of processing about 6000 parts per day. The DRP 4040 NDT is at the heart of this production and been working flawlessly for this program. The panel comes with 200 micron resolution and has a very fast frame rate allowing for almost instant acquisition.

The original name, Findlex Corporation, was changed to Nissin Brake Georgia, Inc. in April 2004. The name change was a strategic decision to give the Nissin brand more exposure in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The name change makes the products and the company clearly recognizable and promotes our reputation as a world-class brake manufacturer.
Nissin was recently acquired by Hitachi and continues to grow as a world class manufacturer, building a wide range of brake and chassis parts for some of the best auto makers in the world.
