Pixel Pitch

The pixel pitch is the distance between the single pixels or photodiodes in the matrix of a digital detector array.

The pixel pitch is equivalent to the pixel size in the digital radiographic image, but not to the image resolution, which is indicated by the Basic Spatial Resolution (SR_b).
